Heat- Asphalt is heated to a working temperature of 350 to 400 degrees. Infrared rays penetrate the asphalt 1.5 to 2 inches. Heating time is approximately 10 to 12 minutes for an area approximately 5 feet by 7 feet. |

Rake- Any deteriorated or damaged asphalt is removed. Then the area is raked with a steel rake and rejuvenator is added. |

Add, Finish and Roll- New hot asphalt is added and raked again to the grade of the existing asphalt surrounding the new repair. The new repair is rolled with a vibratory roller to insure proper compaction. This process ties the edges of the new repair into the surrounding asphalt without seams. The finished product has the same or better life expectancy as the surrounding pavement. |
